In our creative art industry, we have a lot of artistes being managed by so many people who have put all their resources in bringing the best out of the artiste.

Some of these are artistes themselves often put their career on hold just to push others with the money accrued from they gained in their hay days or from other businesses but in the long run, some of them suffer the consequences and often lose due to the artist not blowing or other issues.

After the infamous Strongman and Sarkodie’s managerial issue, Ghanaian rapper E.L reacted by stating emphatically that he’s not ready to manage any artiste now because they tend to become ungrateful when they finally make it.

According to E.L, several up and coming artistes keep knocking on his door, he’s not willing to receive any of them because he can’t risk his career for another person only to be stabbed in the back later.

In this has Ghanaian movie producer and director and a writer, Socrate Safo stated that it’s better to invest in a mobile phone business than spending a pesewa on a Ghanaian artiste who may ungratefully turn to rain insults on you.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Socrates explained that artistes may arrogantly turn to rain insult or be an ingrate when he/she did not reach their expectations.
