3G Media Group is thrilled to announce the nomination of renowned Ghanaian actor Bill Asamoah for an award at the 13th edition of the annual Mega 3G Awards and Celebrity Bash.
The prestigious event will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Ukrainian Youth Center, 301 Palisade Avenue, Yonkers, NY.
William Asamoah-Addo, better known in the Kumawood and Ghanaian film industry as Darlyn Bill is celebrated for his exceptional contributions to film and entertainment.
Asamoah has garnered numerous accolades, including the 8th EMY AFRICA Actor of the Year 2023. In addition to his acting career, he is an expert in monitoring and evaluation, serves as the Chairperson of the Ghana Actors’ Guild for the Northern sector of Ghana, and is a successful entrepreneur with three thriving businesses.
His dedication to the arts and culture was recognized in 2019 when he was appointed Tourism Ambassador by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. He also contributes as a member of the steering committee of the National Film Authority. Asamoah, a devoted Christian and family man, hails from the Worakese Royal Bretuo family of Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region.
This year’s nominations also include notable figures such as the Akumaa Mama Zimbi Foundation, Nyansa Boakwa of Happy FM, Benefo Buabeng of GhanaWeb, Empress Gifty, ACP Kofi Sarpong, Ofori Amponsah, Prophet Kpegah Tamakloe, Lord Kenya, Aburi Gardens Restaurant, Doris Boaduwaa, Black Queens, and many others.

Last year’s event featured Mr. Akwasi Agyemang, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, as the Keynote Speaker and Honoree of the 2023 edition. Agyemang declared the Mega 3G Awards as the Best African Diasporan Awards Scheme established by a Ghanaian.
The 3G Media Awards team is led by its President/Chief Executive Officer, H. E. Evangelist Dr. Charles N. Ntiamoah-Mensah CDSE, also known as Mr. CNN or Dr. CNN. With nearly 25 years of experience as a media and showbiz legend, Dr. Ntiamoah-Mensah is the Publisher/Editor of AfriKan Digest Newspaper and 3G Magazine.
A former freelance photojournalist and writer for Ghanaweb, he also serves as a United Nations Representative/Special Envoy for WOLMI (World of Life Ministries International) under ECOSOC. Dr. Ntiamoah-Mensah represents the International Youth Network for UN Security Council Resolution 2250 as its Global Special Envoy in Strategic Partnerships and is a dedicated humanitarian and kidney advocate. He established the 3G Global Advocacy Group Foundation to support renal failure patients.
