Controversial radio presenter and reggae musician, Blakk Rasta has finally been summoned to appear before the Privileges Committee of Parliament for some comments he made that suggested 80% of Ghanaian parliamentarians smoke “Wee”.
A publication on adomonline.com quoted the host of Hitz FM’s Taxi Driver show to have said that, “There are about 80% of parliamentarians who smoke weed so why do people think those who smoke marijuana go mad.”
In a letter signed by Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, Principal Assistant Clerk, Blakk Rasta, real name Abubakar Ahmed is expected to appear as a witness before the committee on Thursday, June 25 at 1pm to assist in investigation of contemptuous remarks allegedly made on his show.
