Ghanaian songstress, Agnes Opoku Agyemang, says the devil is to be blamed for the collapse of marriages of her colleague female musicians.

According to her, the devil attacks their marriages because of the work they do, which is preaching the word of God through music.

“Most of our songs portray the name of Jesus and serve as advice to people with wicked deeds and so the devil finds ways and means to destroy us so that we will not be able to accomplish our vision and one of such is to destroy our marriages,” she affirmed.

The ‘Menpese Mesan M’akyi’ hit maker added that though the devil launches attack on their marriages, she believes some female musicians were not vigilant enough.

“Considering our time in music and where God was leading us, Satan did something that we didn’t take notice of. During our period in music, people could call and tell us that we wanted to sin but because of your music we will not do that again. So do you think Satan will be happy with us? Mrs. Agyemang quizzed.

Her comments came when asked why these female gospel musicians especially encounter such breakdowns often.

She disclosed this in an interview on 'Koo TV' monitored by Ghanaweb.

Some Ghanaian gospel musicians whose marriage to pastors have collapsed are Gifty Adorye, Obaapa Christy, Esther Smith and herself Agnes Opoku Agyemang.
