Blue-Black, a stage play by Yadah Productions –the producers of The Storm and The Lamp– is set to come off at the National Theatre on Saturday, 22nd April, 2017.
The play presents the thrilling journey of Naa Shidaa, a young lady whose challenging situation of a drunken father, Papa Oye, and a lack of self-esteem and opportunity is keeping her from realizing her dreams.
She gets the unexpected chance to play a role in a choir she never imagined to be part of and finds her dreams amazingly unwinding before her eyes.
When Nunana, the lead singer in the Voices Choir dumps the choir to pursue her individual stardom dream few days ahead of their much awaited competition, Choirmaster Paul is left with no option than to make a drastic decision to keep them in the game.
Yadah Productions is a Ghanaian concept development and theatre production company set out to stage a series of motivating and inspiring productions.
Its understanding of the relevance and power of stage productions in human reformation, relaxation and national development helps us to put together only the best as far as the industry is concerned.
