Boamah Grabs Listeners For Eastern 105.1 Fm

Boamah Darko Isaac, a young up-coming broadcast journalist in the Eastern Region, is the morning show host of Eastern 105.1 FM in Koforidua and Assembly Member for Ahwenease/Adadientam in the East Akyem Municipality in the Eastern Region.

He took over the reins of the programme called ‘Adeakye Abia’, less than a year ago, and since then, the Okyeman fine boy, popularly known for his fluency and creativity, has changed the show to the highest level and people have appreciated his style of presentation, with others ranking him far above his predecessors.

His versatility and skill has also drawn a lot of listenership for the radio station as people, during the call in segments, phone in from the Greater Accra, Central, Eastern, Volta and parts of the Ashanti regions, to contribute to the programme which starts at 7am from Mondays to Saturdays.

Boamah used to be the parliamentary correspondent to the station and also worked with Peace FM and Sena Radio.

The young journalist, who has been arrested and put behind bars overnight for having reported on illegal mining activities that destroyed the Birim River, believes that in journalism lies the truth.
