The World Business Angel Investors forum in partnership with UAE-Africa Mentoring Development Consortium is hosting the maiden edition of the Africa Business Excellence Awards Ceremony slated on the 20th September 2018 at Mendiata Hotel, Achimota Golf Hill.
WBAF-UAMDC Africa excellence awards seeks to recognize leaders and business moguls that have excelled in their respective field of endeavors and have also made an impact in contributing to the development of people’s capacities by providing mentorship, coaching and opening job opportunities for the youth in Africa.
The Chief Executive Officer of Excellence in Broadcasting ,EIB -Network, Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye-Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray has been nominated together with 24 other top CEOs.
Bola Ray has been nominated as African CEO that supports Entrepreneurship in Ghana via his media platform.
The immediate past National Youth Organizer of ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku now the National Organizer has also been nominated for the Youth Development and Job Creation category in the final official list released last night by the organizers.

They have been nominated to the following categories: Public-Private Partnership, Public Service citation category, Smart City and Innovation category, Community and Developmental category, Leadership and Transparency/Human Right, Youth Development and Job Creation, Lifetime Achievers, Youngest Advocate on African Continental Free Trade, Diplomatic and Honorary Award, Government Initiative on Clean and Sustainable Energy and Overall Business Enabling Country.
The rest of the categories are Sustainable local Content on Land and Natural Resources, Hospitality Support Services, Extraordinary Peace and Global Security, Most Promising Leader in Aviation Sector and Smart Investment Company in Africa.
Some special guests expected to grace the event are WBAF Chairman Hon. Baybars Altunta? whose visit will be his first in West Africa. Mr Baybars vision is to connect Ghanaian business to the world of finance for ease and accessibility.
