Bola Ray and a host of celebs get colourful this weekend

It is no secret that colors add a lot of drama to your looks, helping to make a statement and when they are incorporated well, they can make you look gorgeously different.

Gone are those days when the dressing rule dictated that shoe color has to blend with the bag. In this colorful season what is important is your confidence about the colors you are wearing and how to carry them in style.

Ever since the color block trend hit the fashion scene a few seasons ago, the trend has refused to go as it continues to record a growing following and is undoubtedly the trend that is greatly rocking the ladies' world this season.

This weekend, Ghana's favourite celebrities and trendy revelers, will be setting the fashion tone for 2013 as they mix and match colours in style at the "Colour Blocking" Party.

The, event, the very first of its kind to hit GH, aims to bring together the city's chic fun lovers to show off their trendy, feisty and artistic "colour blocking" skills whiles having a good time.

This groundbreaking rave is set to take place inside Club Invasion on Friday, February 22, 2013.

According to the organisers, Empire Records - a subsidiary of Empire Entertainment- the rave would be an eye opener for many in the color blocking world in this 21st century and the clothes that folks will be wearing on this night are sure to set the tone for mixing and matching colours for the rest of the year.

Leading the trendsetting pack will be A-list celebrities including Bola Ray, Yvonne Nelson, Majid Michelle, R2Bees, Guru and a host of others.

Here's a tip for all revelers who will be heading to Club Invasion this Friday; in order to effectively mix and match colours bear in mind that color blocking is all about placing solid colors next to another.

It could be bright colors over dull colors.
