Viasat1 has announced 6th March, 2015 (Independence Day) as the date for the premiere of the sixth season of Ghana’s most interactive all-men talk show ‘Boys Boys’.
The new season has been themed ‘Game Changers’ edition. The affable and eloquent award-winning host Kojo Frempong will be joined by other men this season to examine and exploit ideas, concepts and social themes that are changing perceptions, influencing opinions and decisions as well as impacting society positively.
The new theme comes on the heels of seasons four and five themed ‘Good Life’ and ‘Next Level’ respectively. The Good Life season tracked the good life of successful men, while the Next Level explored the various concepts by men poised to make waves in the nearest future.
The ‘Game Changers’ season of Boys Boys would examine and track the men making impact and setting the agenda. It is to encourage young men fight opinions, stand out from the crowd, forge ahead positively and also change perceptions by sharing their experiences and lessons. Among the guests to expect are Chief Executive Officer for the Kantanka Group, Kwadwo Safo Jr., software engineer, Herman Chinery-Hesse, founder of SOFTtribe and award-winning actor, Prince David Osei.
Over the next 13 weeks, Boys Boys will also give viewers the opportunity to examine a number of ideas affecting men. For example, what is the current perception of men with regards to marriage? Why are men now moving from being the ‘final decision makers’ in marriage to being more responsive and actively involved in domestic affairs? What has changed? Also, the show will cast the spotlight on thriving businesses and those driving it.
Boys Boys received two awards last year for Best Male Entertainment Show Host of the Year at the Radio & Television Personality Awards 2014, and Best Camera Work at the Ghana Television Awards 2014. The new season of Boys Boys premieres at 8:00 p.m. this Friday 6th March with regular host Kojo Frempong, and it will air same time every Friday only on Viasat1.
