Burger highlife @ MOGO

For those of you who are a little bit older, I mean around the 80s, where you could remember the crazy hit tunes of the two amazing jelly-curls friends, the German burgers whose burger music took the nation by storm.

Ye ya ka Akwentuom by these seasoned performers would obviously know the men behind the hit –Lumba Brothers.

I thought after the release of that platinum album the group will see longevity but no, they were faced with a break up which saw the two going solo.

Well folks, all that I am saying is that the legendary Ghanaian Burger High lifers are back again with renewed enthusiasm and are coming together once again to dish out one of their favorite tune on farmer’s day at the National Theatre on 7th December 2007, dubbed MOGO (Music of Ghanaian origin)- “Celebrating the Past, inspiring the future”

The concert at the 1500-seater Theatre is going to be a real cracker as the previous editions left a very positive impact in the minds of patrons who patrons. In a statement the organizers CITI Fm assured fans of a top class variety of music brew in the Ghanaian pot.

Beside the Lumba Brothers we have Pat Thomas, Papa Yankson and C K Mann, what a Fante Confederation! The pair, Lumba Brothers had held a record for the largest number of record sales in a single album released Aben Wo Ha and Anka Ebe ye den. Let’s meet there.
