Mr Massimiliano Taricone, Chief Executive Officer of Casa Trasacco Limited was adjudged the “King of Kitchen” at “My Boss is the Best Chef” cooking competition held at the La Palm Royal Beach hotel on Saturday June 20, 2015.
Mr. Taricone, who took home a plaque and an amount of Ghc10, 000 for a project competed with other CEO’s including Mr. Walid Said of Sanita and Mr Aaron Issa Anafure of SIC life.
Mr. Walid Said who was the first runner-up received a hamper and a certificate while Mr. Aaron Issa Anafure also took home a hamper and a certificate for second position.
The three CEOs were given a specific timeframe within which they must cook a main dish- Jollof- and other dishes including a starter and a dessert.
The winner, Mr. Taricone, in an interview with GhanaWeb.com explained that he thought it was a game, but when he realized it was a competition, he sped up the process leading to his win.
“I am happy that I have won the Ghc10, 000.00 (which I will use for a project in a chosen community). I thank Origin8 for such a great initiative,” the Casa Trasacco CEO added.
The maiden edition of “My Boss is the Best Chef” cooking competition was organized by Oring8, a leading integrated marketing communications firm that provides consulting services, events, PR and market research.
The event mainly seeks to entertain, de-stress, as well as garner support for a good cause by leveraging the right mix of business and fun.
The event was also to bring together some section of the community members to also network and create a relationship that could yield profitable business networks.
