Castro, Fosu & Nti Rock Maryland

For the fans of Castro, K K Fosu and Kofi Nti in New York and Connecticut waiting patiently to see their artistes perform live in their respective cities, they are really going to get their money?s worth. The stars did rock the Maryland show. They appeared on stage one after the other with Kofi Nti first, K K Fosu, second and finally Castro. Together they appeared on stage for the moment Maryland fans had been waiting for. Historically it was the first time the triple artistes have played together on a US soil. At backstage, prior to K K Fosu and Castro entering the auditorium, DJ Willis who manages Ofori Amponsah?s Fan Club; www.oforiamponsah.com, requested autographs from the duo and they gladly granted that request.

They performed together on stage throughout the show which had a diverse audience (young, old and also non Ghanaians). It was also well attended. Apart from the minor glitches which occurred and were immediately corrected, the stars offered fans non stop/marathon entertainment, with hits after hits.

The host of the evening was radio personality/heavyweight from Queens, NY; Flipman who gave an awesome performance. There were great opening act performances by Gospel sensation, Nana Frimpong and Africa?s King of Gospel/Holy-Hip-hop, Steve Kodjo Kelly.

The DJs on the wheels of steel who provided the music and deserve commendation are; DJ Freddie of MetroHi Productions/Entertainment and DJ Pryme and his magnificent crew. OBE Television provided the video coverage and The New Ghanaian, Washington Metro?s popular free newspaper was also there for coverage.

The three Hip-life stars perform in New York at the Frederick E. Samuel Center, opposite the Minisink in Harlem, NY on Saturday, February 25th and March 4th Hartford, CT. Flyers are now circulating so grab a copy.

Castro, K K Fosu and Kofi Nti have been tipped by music lovers worldwide to win numerous awards at the GMA for their incredible hits in 2005.
