Ghanaian female rapper, Belinda Ekua Amoah, aka Mzbel has recounted her fun moments with Castro months after the ‘Seihor’ singer went missing. Mzbel on Radio Univers in Accra said she has missed Castro owing to the fact that he was fun to be with.
The '16 years singer’ in an interview with Abrantepa said “his sense of humour, he makes me laugh always. He seems not serious most of the time but he is. He is always joking about serious stuff. You know people like that, you always want to have them around.”
Commenting on the Castro-Janet Bandu missing saga, Mzbel said she did not believe the story when she heard for the first time but “when I heard a lady on a radio station saying she is standing by the dead body, I freaked out. Then later they came to say it was not true and a lot of things.”
Theophilus Tagoe, known in showbiz circles as “Castro De Destroyer” and Janet Bandu of “I am in Love with Bomaye” fame went missing on Sunday July 6, after jet skiing on the Ada-Volta estuary.
The two are suspected to have drowned but their families, music lovers and friends are still keeping hopes alive.
Mzbel hosts her “Red Concert” this Saturday at the National Theater as part of celebrating 10 years in music.
