Five years after musician Castro released his hit song, Seihor, the artiste he featured on the track, D-Black has made a shocking revelation about the tune.

Desmond Blackmore has made it known that the single which became very popular in the year 2014 was originally meant to diss Charterhouse, organisers of the annual Ghana Music Awards.

The rapper giving reasons for Castro’s initial decision to throw jabs at the event house with the ‘Seihor’ song disclosed that his song ‘Odo Pa’ which featured Kofi Kinaata and Asamoah Gyan failed to pick the number of awards he, Castro wanted at the year’s music award, an action he could not fathom judging from how popular the song was in the year under review.

“The original version of seihor was a diss song to Charterhouse. Ghana music awards had passed and he had this big highlife song with Asamoah Gyan and Kofi Kinaata. He even won three awards or so with the song, Odo Pa but it was funny to him so he was venting his fraustration on the song, Seihor.

The beat was produced by Breezy. Becca was producing her album then and when she heard the beat, she rejected it, Joey B and myself also didn’t like it but when Castro heard the beat, he decided to record something and asked me to freestyle on it.

After we all did our freestyles on the beat he told me that it was going to be his next release” D-Black narrated on Joy FM’s entertainment show.
