Popular Ghanaian actor, Akwesi Boadi aka Akrobeto has taken a swipe at people correlating the current rampant celebrity deaths in Ghana with spirituality.

Prophet Samuel Baffour of El Shaddai Prayer Center and Rev.Isaac Owusu Bempah who is also the leader and founder of the Glorious Word Ministry International have made shocking prophecies that, Most Ghanaian celebrities especially those in the creative Arts industry were going to die prematurely before 2016 ends.

However, eight (8) months into 2016,the Ghanaian showbiz industry has already lost about seven (7) celebrities in the Creative Arts industry like Bob Okalla, Daasebre Gyamenah, Nkomode and George Williams

Most showbiz enthusiasts and the general public are correlating the deaths of these departed celebrities with the prophecies made by the pastors.

Expressing his view on the issue, the Veteran Kumawood actor Akrobeto, rebutted those assumptions by indicating that celebrities are not the only human beings dying in Ghana.

He spoke with Dr.Who, host of 'Hot and Classic Showbiz review' on Accra-based Hot 93.9fm:

"It's very sad when i hear people saying there is something spiritual behind the current rampant celebrity deaths_My brother, there is nothing spiritual about it.Go to Korle Bu or Komfo Anokye hospitals and see the number of people who die daily_Are they also spiritual?

"Death is inevitable_just that when a celebrity dies,it is being published by the media making it look as if celebrities are the only people dying which is very wrong No..Celebrities are not the only people dying in Ghana", Akrobeto opined passionately to Dr.Who

Akrobeto, who shot to fame through an entertainment show dubbed "Key Soap Concert Party" rather advised his colleagues in the creative Arts industry to regularly undergo medical check-ups.
