Characters I play do not depict Me-Nii Saka Brown

A prominent Ghanaian actor, Nii Saka Brown says none of the characters he ever played in movies depicts the real him.

Nii Saka Brown who has starred in movies like Ogyam, Kyeiwaa, Marisca and Babina, among others, said he is a shy person who enjoys smiling and laughing a lot because he wants to live long.

The married actor said though he does not have any formal education in acting, he began acting in 1986 starring in a movie titled “shoe shine boy”.

According to him, he once diverted from electronics to advertising after which he worked for Media Touch as a Production Manager for three years in addition acting.

Nii Saka Brown says he is currently a businessman who deals in marketing and advertising. “I own a marketing and advertising company in Accra,” he emphasised.

The Actor, who featured on Asempa FM’s Abrabo Programme, said he was born at Korle-Gonno and started his primary education at the Korle-Gonno Roman Boys School and advanced to Emit Electronic Institute, Accra Technical Training Centre and pursued Computer Hardware Engineering at Computer College of Technology for three years.

Kenkey or Banku with Okro stew, according to Nii Saka Brown, are his favourite foods and prefers shades of blue as his favorite colours. Mr. Brown said he worked with two South African companies for ten years after his Post Graduate in Entrepreneurship at the Entrepreneur Training Institute.

He advised the youth desiring to go into acting to be passionate about acting, be obedient to movie directors but be watchful what demands are made of them before being given a role.
