Ghanaian singer Adina Thembi Ndamse has urged the youth to avoid violence during the 2024 elections, emphasising that the safety of this year’s Christmas celebrations could be at risk.
She has advised Ghanaians to make thoughtful choices when casting their ballots in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7.
Adina Thembi urged all voters to be patient and focused on maintaining peace throughout the election period, ensuring that the festive season remains joyous for everyone.
“My advice to everyone is to remember that we will have to live with the consequences of our voting decisions for the next four years. Therefore, we should be careful to make the right choice,” she said in an interview with Amansan Krakye.
She further emphasised, “Let’s prioritise the peace that we are known for and resist any attempts to incite violence. If there is unrest after the elections, it could jeopardize our Christmas celebrations.”
