Citizen Kofi introduces a taste of Latin flavours!

The impressive Citizen Kofi Entertainment Centre in Osu, Accra has introduced an exciting packing that will enhance its already existing ambience for people to enjoy music, food, beverages and entertainment of all types. The centre now offers Latin flavours and activities throughout the week.

The weekly events start with a Cuban flair at the Sky Bar terrace with Mojito Mondays. Patrons can enjoy the wonderful and busy view of Accra while sipping on Mojitos with friends and loved ones. Mojitos originated in Cuba and can be traced back to the 16th Century. It’s made with rum, sugar, mint and lime. A full glass goes for 6 GH?.

Once the taste buds have been awakened by dreams of lazy afternoons in the Caribbean, there is a move over to Mexico on Tuesday with tacos and margaritas. On Terrific Taco Tuesdays, Chef Mario’s famous Taco is served to compliment delicious ice cold Margaritas at the Accra Bar. Taco goes for 4 GH? whiles Margaritas goes for 6 GH?. Patrons can also try a Specialty Margaritas including Tre Jolie or a fresh fruit margarita made to order.

On Wednesday nights, Restaurant Xango presents an unforgettable evening of wine and food with the South American wine dinner. Once again, Chef Mario has created a meal enhanced with the beauty and creativity of fine cuisine that would be matched with wines provided by Jean Paul Feghali’s Imexo, specially selected to compliment the various courses.

It is not Latin all-week however! Thursdays and Fridays is ‘Happy Hour’ at the Accra Bar, and patrons can enjoy their refreshing cocktails along with complimentary finger foods whiles they wait for traffic in town to end. On Friday nights is Highlife for the Grown and Beautiful at Club Citizen with DJ Bosco. Mature patrons can relax with great highlife sounds while they enjoy cocktail or after dinner in Restaurant Xango. DJ Bosco will play classic highlife tunes from 5pm to 11pm.

Saturday is the perfect time to dance the night away to rhythmic Latin beats with Sangria and Salsa Saturdays at the Hollywood Lounge. Patrons who want to take lessons in Salsa can polish their dance moves from lesson from dance teachers, while enjoying a fresh glass of sangria. Salsa classes start from 9pm to 10pm. After the lessons, the party continues as everybody shows off their dances to the Latin beats with DJ Spando.

Located on the 6th Street, Off Oxford Street, Osu, Citizen Kofi Entertainment centre consists of a lounge, restaurant, night club, outdoor bar and live entertainment space.
