The invite only launch happened at the Coke Headquarters in Nairobi Saturday night, kicked off my top East African DJ Stylez. Who got the crowd of over 500 dancing, accompanied by a bass guitarist and saxaphone player.

Over 10 African artists were introduced on stage including Vanessa Mdee from Tanzania who went into the crowd to serenade guests. DJ Maphorisa confirmed co-producing Drake’s ‘One Dance’ before revealing he had collaborated with over 9 artists on an upcoming song with Trey Songz. And then, Trey Songz ran to the stage and performed a number of his hits, back to back, such as ‘Slow Motion’, ‘Bottoms Up’ and ‘Na Na’.

He was joined on stage by the other artists such as Yemi Alade. Stonebwoy had one of the best performances of the night and even out sang all three members of surprise guests, Sauti Sol in my opinion. The two time MTV MAMA nominee then performed, his hit single ‘People Dey’ and the BHIM Nation anthem ‘Go Higher’, before jamming on stage with Yemi Alade while she performed Kofi Annan and then shook up the crowd with ‘Johnny’
