His shaved eyebrows, earrings, painted nails, dreadlocks attached with extensions and multiple facial piercings and wearing of tight fitting jeans may perhaps be some of the reasons Nana Tonardo is considered as a gay.

The actor has, however vehemently refuted claims that suggest he is interested in having affair with men.

Tonardo, real name Emil Gerald Wood threw a challenge on Celebrity Ride with Zion Felix that anyone who has evidence that he practices homosexuality should openly declare it and shame him.

Quizzed by the host, Zion Felix if he has ever tried the act, the actor affirmed that he’s not gay but he’s rather judged by his sense of style and fashion.

“In Ghana, if you don’t go according to the trend most guys go, they see you to be an outcast, and I know majority of entertainers in Ghana who are gay. Sometimes I receive calls from some people who propose love to me,” he said.

Nana Tornado and Deloris Frimpong Manso, a Ghanaian television and radio presenter known in showbiz as Delay fell out since September 2016 after starring in ‘Afia Schwarzenegger’ TV series for a couple of years.

Deloris Frimpong-Manso and Nana Tornado who were once good friends are now at loggerheads following a message Delay posted on Instagram, claiming she takes “nobodies” like Tornado and turn them into “somebodies”.
