Comfort Annor to be buried on May 30

Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Ama Otu Bea popularly known as Deaconess Comfort Annor of the Church Of Pentecost, the 66-year-old who lost her life on Sunday February 222nd at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi will be buried on Saturday, 30th May, 2015.

She left behind seven children. The burial service is scheduled to take place at Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana.

The date was announced at the one-week observation of the late gospel musician held on 1st March at her hometown, Kosoa Bawijiase.

Some of the known faces seen at the week observation included Mary Ghansah, Diana Hopeson, Hannah Marfo,Pastor Duah, Abaawa Connie, Dr. Thomas Yawson, Rose Adjei and others.

Emmanuel Afare Dankwah, Publication Relation Officer for the family in an interview said the cause of her death is still unknown adding the deaconess had been complaining of several pains in her stomach.

Comfort Annor is best remembered for popular songs include “Asaase Dah) Gyan”, “W’awo Me )ba”, “Abraham Sarah”, “Mewo Agyapade3”, “Hena Na W’aye” among others.
