Comfort Osei-Wusu Says ?Me Nyame So?

As the number of gospel artistes joining the gospel train in the industry continues to soar, there have been reports of poor sound quality and singing on the part of some gospel artiste. This has made many music lovers in the country publicly abhor the kind of gospel music, which are being released onto the market today. But, there are a few artistes who have vowed to lift the flag of the gospel music high with the aim of making Ghana proud through music.

One of such artistes currently on the scene is Comfort Osei-Wusu who is based at Maryland in the U.S.A. She released her debut album ?Time Changes? last year and now is out with ?Me Nyame So?. All the tracks on the album have good and quality sound.

The musical and instrumental arrangements were also done with a touch of professionalism. The eight-track album kicks off on the side A with ?Me Nyame So?, the title track, which is a praise piece, so inspirationally done in a high life rhythm and intertwined with a line of Soukous beats that make the piece very danceable.

?Born Again?, which follows is an English piece that talks about the obligations of a person who has newly accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour, popularly known as ?Born again?.

Another piece sang in the Queen?s language, ?Dream Maker? was done in a cool reggae vein, which brought out the qualities of the ?Lady of Praise? which includes the fact that she was not only a praise singer, but a woman of many parts. About six of the eight tracks on the album were done in the Queen?s language. Grab your copy from the music market.
