Confusion in Tuobodom

OH! OH! OH!!! PLANNED WEDING BACKFIES, BRIDE IN TEARS, CONGREGATION EXPRESSES DISMAY, PASTOR SHOCKED ON ACTION

The rate at which some disgruntled Christians are looking down upon matrimonial rites is very alarming. Even though Scriptures have made it clear that marriage is a sacred entity and should be observed as such by all most people, especially those eager to honour it. Upon all the biblical saying people are still making fun of it.

After studying the intricacies associated with the biblical aspect of marriage some Christians decided to pass through the window in their quest to achieve their heart desire. This way even though strange many people don’t see any thing wrong with it. However flouting over scriptural the doctrine of marriage is being nipped on the foot by some recalcitrant ones in the society.

On Sunday 10th December, 2006 at the Blood of Jesus reformed church, Tuobodom branch, it was an eye saw when a well planned wedding by a 31-year old bride, Kwabena Kumi was forced to cancel a secret alter ceremony following an assertion that he had already betrothed to another lady and had a girl child with her. The head pastor of the church, Rev. Isaac Adjei who confirmed this in an interview with classic news said it all started when the relatives of the supposed wife of the bride, 28 year old Foustina Fosua’s relatives stormed the church’s premises upon a tip off that Mr. Kumii will be sending another lady to the alter in some few minutes time after the two in the previous day had performed a customary rites at the woman in question, Naomi Obeng Mensah , a hair dresser, family’s house at Tuobodom.

According to the pastor the visitors expressed their resentment over the wedding with an explanation that Mr. Kumi is still there with their daughter and as result cannot sit down unconcern for such ceremony to be performed. He reiterated that as the mutual conversation was going on the bride in a well-sawn wedding gown in a convoy decorated with assorted flowers arrived at the scene in the presence of the congregation. The minister who had earlier found thought in the explanation given had no other means than to call off the wedding.

Further source tapped by Classic News also made it known that wailing and gnashing of teeth became the delicacy of the bridegroom as she was again forced into a waiting saloon car. The church members and other sympathizers who could not control their grief were all seen wearing unusual face. However the decorations in the church building were not touched as the minister consoled the members with piece of advice before going on with the usual Sunday service. Meanwhile all the delicious meals prepared as a result of the spiritual togetherness were left at the mercy of fortunate people in the Tuobodom farming community to satisfy their hunger at California motel.

When contacted at her Techiman residence, the self claimed legal wife, Madam Fosua told classic news that she had been cheated by the bride. Additional information gathered also made it available that on Saturday 9th December, 2006 Mr. Kumi went to her house but failed to mention his hatched idea and later filled his empty stomach with some esophagus fuel before leaving the place. Fosua further established that;

When spotted in the room of his about to be bridegroom at Tuobodom, Kumi charged that he has nothing to do with Fosua but said they had once lived as concubines but had already separated as a result of a misunderstanding that broke up.

On her part Naomi attributed the incident to the work of the devil and reaffirmed her love for Kumi. . At the time of filing this report at about 1; 30pm, a reasonable number of love ones and sympathizers were seen at young couple house consoling them.
