Coronavirus: Shatta Wale fulfils his promise, donates relief items to prisoners

He might sound a bit aggressive and controversial on issues pertaining to Ghana showbiz industry but Shatta Wale has a big heart when it comes to supporting the needy.

In a bid to fulfil a promise he made a few days ago, the dancehall star donated some coronavirus relief items to prisoners to help fight the pandemic in the country.

The “Ayoo” hitmaker in an explosive live streaming video on Facebook which was targeted at Sarkodie and Reggie Rockstone a few days ago also revealed his intentions to donate food and other essential items to Ghana police service and prisoners.

He expressed his disappointment in some Ghanaian artiste (Criss Waddle and Medikal excluded) with their inability to help the government fight the spread of COVID-19 cases in Ghana which currently stands at 287.

Shatta Wale later in the video disclosed he will be making more donations to the Ghana Police Service and also to prisoners in support of the government help fight coronavirus.

And today, he fulfilled his promise by donating to prisoners.

He didn’t reveal where he did the donation but shared photos from the event with the caption: “Just surprised these inmates in these difficult times. Let’s continue to stay safe and think about the vulnerabilities in society and lend our little support any way we could. God bless us all! Keep your faith alive, all these shall pass.”
