D-Black reacts to lyrics of his song being studied by students of UG Literature Department

Ghanaian rapper D-Black has shared the exciting news that his song is being studied at the University of Ghana.

In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, D-Black revealed that his song 'My Kinda Girl'—which features Sarkodie—was studied by students of the literature department at the university.

He mentioned that the lyrics were analyzed during the last semester of the university's academic calendar.

D-Black expressed his happiness about this development in a post shared on Instagram.

He stated that God has been good, and he is very grateful.

"Such an honor for the University of Ghana @universityofghana Literature Department last semester to study the lyrics from the song 'My Kinda Girl' off my second album with my brother @sarkodie in an academic paper that appeared in the Critical Discourse Studies by Dr. Nancy Henaku, a lecturer at the Department of English, University of Ghana.

"Back then, we were coming up and just wanted to tell our stories and break free without the pressure of commercial success. A decade later, students my age then are studying the lyrics I penned down. That feeling is a different type of feeling! God has been good. Stay grateful, stay smiling…" the popular rapper wrote.
