After a successful entry into the industry through K K fosu’s No.1 single hit the hip life artiste D-flex who sang the Hausa verse in that song is set to launch a campaign he calls ‘Voices from the Hoods’.
The eastern World entertainment signed artiste explained the project as, ‘I grew up in Adabraka, during our time there were guys who had great passion for a certain career which was not necessary music but had no push from parents but that did not stop some of them.
These guys through their own efforts saw the light of day, hence the voice from the hoods is a motivational campaign that will be embarked by me and all those who through their own efforts made it on their own, as we come out and encourage the young ones coming out from the hoods to push to the top’.
Abubakar Alhassan as he is known in real life also noted that, this project is one that comes from within as he wishes to see every young guy in Alajo, Darkuman, Nima, Mamobi, Newtown, Adabraka, among other hoods come out in large numbers as Doctors, lawyers, engineers or even a musician hence this campaign is to preach about education disguised in a motivational angle.
“I hope to kick off this campaign before my album launch this March, so every plan to hold the first ‘Voice from the hood’ street seminar is coming to a hood soon, details of it will be communicated as soon as we are good to roll”, D-flex stressed.
In his final words, the artiste disclosed that he is getting ready to have his media launch of his album titled “Paradise” and at the same venue will witness the outdoor & committee for the “voice from the hoods” campaign, then the project starts.
He was grateful to every single Ghanaian supporting him, DJ / presenters airing his songs and his label for his works, 2012 watch out for more hits apart from Opollo ft Stay J, Castro and Nyame Yaba ft Erico he said smiling.
