Ghana's Amapiano king, DJ Azonto, has once again made headlines with a bold statement during a performance in Kete Krachi, Volta Region.
In front of hundreds gathered at the concert, DJ Azonto promised to give renowned media personality Nana Aba Anamoah a staggering $5 million in gratitude for her unwavering support of his career.
The declaration came in the middle of a high-energy performance, where DJ Azonto expressed his deep appreciation for the astute media personality.
"Nana Aba has been a pillar of support in my journey. Her encouragement and belief in me have been invaluable, and I want to show my gratitude in a significant way," he stated.
DJ Azonto's pledge to Nana Aba follows his ongoing public demand for financial compensation from key political figures, including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong, and Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Chairman Wontumi.
According to DJ Azonto, his hit song "Fa No Fom" has been used repeatedly at political events without proper authorization or compensation.
"I am fighting for what is rightfully mine. My music has been a significant part of their campaigns, and it's only fair that I receive due compensation for its use. Nana Aba has supported me throughout this fight, and I must say I am immensely grateful to her," DJ Azonto added.
