Nigerian disc jockey cum daughter of billionaire Aliko Dangote, DJ Cuppy, has shared how she transitioned to exclusively featuring playing gospel songs.

The musician, who recently underwent baptism, said although she was first anxious about compiling a list of purely Christian songs, God helped her through the process.

Cuppy took to her Instagram page to share photos of one of her performances while thanking God for giving her the chance to use music to serve him.

She wrote: “I had the RARE opportunity to do the two things I love most: DJing AND Serving God. What a blessing! Thank you for having me @HTBfocus”.

DJ Cuppy clarified that unlike popular belief, Christian music is upbeat and positive.

She added, “I was really nervous about curating a performance with ONLY Christian music, but God challenged and guided me through it. And please DO NOT get it twisted— Christian music is LIT! Genuinely grateful for this journey and for the chance to share my faith through music!”
