DMV PITP: Unforgettable Ghanaian music experience thrills Washington DC

Washington DC witnessed an electrifying event as hundreds of party enthusiasts gathered at The Bullpen for a celebration of Ghanaian music and culture.

The rectangular-shaped open structure resonated with danceable Ghanaian tunes, creating a vibrant atmosphere that captivated attendees from afternoon into the evening as the third edition of DMV Party in the Park unfolded.

The DMV Party in the Park has become a staple summer event, drawing crowds from all over the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas.

StarrBuzz Media, the powerhouse behind the event, once again curated a day packed with amazing music, vibrant vibes, and talents from Ghana.

The event’s success was driven by the turntable prowess of renowned DJs Aroma, K Crakk, among others, who kept the crowd on their feet with a mix of high-energy beats and classic hits. The charged audience, eager to party, enjoyed performances from some of Ghana’s most popular musicians, making the night unforgettable.

The musical journey began with Rosy, the opening act, who set a reflective tone with her songs about Jesus and thanksgiving. Juicee followed, raising the tempo and preparing the audience for the night’s main acts.

Kwesi Arthur was the first seasoned artist to take the stage, warming up the crowd with his dynamic performance of hits like “Grind Day” and “Celebrate” featuring Teni. Sefa followed, looking ravishing in a skimpy red dress. Her captivating dance moves and performances of “Fever” featuring Sarkodie and “E Choke” mesmerized the audience.

Joey B sustained the excitement, delivering hot performances of “Tonga” and “U x Me” that lit up the event. Finally, Gyakie closed the show with her soothing low-tempo tunes, including the hit “Forever,” among other favorites, providing a perfect wind-down to an exhilarating evening.

Food and drink vendors added to the festive atmosphere, offering a variety of treats to keep the energy high. The community spirit was palpable, with attendees fraternizing and enjoying the casual setting.
