DStv Thanks Ghanaian Subscribers with Free Subscriptions

24 Lucky subscribers across all 4 DStv bouquets have been rewarded with 12months subscription for their loyalty to DStv.

Between January and March 2014 , DStv subscribers were encouraged to pay their subscriptions before their due date in order to stand a chance to win 12 months subscription. Some of the winners include Mr. Attuquayfio, a CEO of a private company, Mr. Francis Dakla, a Police Officer, Mrs. Appaw, an accountant and Mr. Mensah, a pilot.

Most of the winning subscribers were extremely shocked and excited to hear the news as they believe this is a great reward from DStv for their loyalty over the years. Some of the winners have been DStv subscribers for over 20 years and were of the view that the DStv Rewards Campaign is a great initiative to say thank you to subscribers.

General Manager of Multichoice Ghana Cecil Sunkwa Mills said “Without our subscribers, we do not have a business and therefore we feel it is important to recognize and reward them for their patronage. We will also go the extra mile to delight them with the best customer service and value added services”.

DStv is currently gearing up to screen the World Cup on Surpersports where all 64 matches will be shown in HD pictures and sound. And for the first time, the World of Champions’ presentation will include augmented reality, utilising the latest technology. Using high-end graphics, SuperSport will take viewers into 3-D representations of all stadiums, enabling experts to analyse the game like never before. This is the first time this technology will be used on the continent.

SuperSport has also rolled out a galaxy of football idols who will be analysing matches. Bayern Munich legend and Ghanaian retired defender, Sammy Kuffour joins big-name football personalities; Manchester United superstar Ryan Giggs, former World Cup winner Marcel Desailly of France, English legend John Barnes and former Spanish star Gaizka Mendieta.

They will also be joined by Jay Jay Okocha and Sunday Oliseh (Nigeria) Shaun Bartlett, Andre Arendse, Andy Townsend, Neil Tovey, Ernst Middendorp, Ruud Krol, Stuart Baxter, Gavin Hunt and Doctor Khumalo (South Africa).

Reflecting its Pan-African interests, SuperSport will have dedicated crews following African powerhouses Ghana and Nigeria, ensuring viewers get the very latest news from the playing camps.
