Chief Executive Officer of Scene One Film Productions and writer Babatunde Dennis Adewale has revealed that Prince David Osei’s “Last Night” movie is solely his script and does not want to share the credit with any director, actor or writer.

Speaking on First Digital TV’s weekend Entertainment talk show which shows on FTV & BTA, the writer of “Why Marry” challenged Prince David Osei to publish the original script and the contract they signed before acquiring the story.

Narrating further, he indicated that he wrote the script in 2011 with the intention of producing it himself.

“So in 2013 I decided to shoot the script even though I wasn’t having much money but before then I tried contacting Majid with an executive producer who wanted to invest but it could not realize due to quotations and financial constraints.

So I decided to go in for this same Prince David Osei and agreed to shoot with the American outright after premiering which I agreed to.

He came to set anytime he felt like and on my way home from one of the days of our shooting, I was involved in an accident and before I knew he had travelled to the USA.

A lot happened afterwards and I was surprised he came back asking I sell the script to him which I initially didn’t agree to but later did since I didn’t have the funds to pursue.

I was shocked when he asked me to meet him at Tesano police station with the agreement document, my first clause in the agreement was my writer’s credit which I reiterated while he signed.

The next thing I see in the trailer of the film is WRITTEN BY: ANDY BOYO and BABATUNDE DENNIS ADEWALE.

I called him immediately and we had close to 30 minutes fight on phone that day because the fact the director changed certain things does not make him a co-writer.”

The fumed writer asked David Osei to award him his credit adding that, he did not write the story with anyone. I want my credit or he keeps the film in his wardrobe, he concluded.
