Dear GhanaWeb,

I have known my partner since childhood. Our relationship continued through to SHS until we went our separate ways when we both got admitted to different universities.

For five good years, we never heard from each other until I met him on Saturday. We exchanged numbers and continued our friendship from there. We fell in love with each other and we have been in a relationship for six years now.

In our second year, my boyfriend cheated on me, he confessed and I forgave him. He repeated the same mistake in our fourth year. This time around, I almost forfeited, but his family intervened so I let it slide.

We are about to get married and he has confessed to cheating on me. I appreciate his honesty, but the disrespect, I can't take it anymore.

I really want to leave this relationship, but if I consider certain factors, like starting afresh and my age, they influence my thoughts not to leave him.

Should I prioritize self-respect and move on or give him another chance?
