Dear GhanaWeb: She came to the city with a Ghana must-go bag and will return to the village with the same bag

Dear GhanaWeb,

Silence is the best way to answer a fool, right? That is how I pretended not to know about my wife’s affair and the money she was stealing from our joint account.

I wear a smile to welcome her anytime she returns home from her adulterous affair.

I shaped her into the woman she is now. I financed her education from high school to university, gave her a job, and organized her dream wedding.

My friend reported to me that my wife had been absent from work for some months now without any excuse; thus, she had been sacked from the company.

That raised suspicions, so I tailed her one morning only to realize that she was cheating and her boyfriend’s place was now her workplace.

She’s astute and acts in a way you wouldn’t suspect her. She has been extremely nice to me, gives me good sex, and buys me gifts whenever she comes home.

My latest update about my wife and her lover is that they plan to leave the country together, and I know she will use my money to fund the trip.

My wife lied to me and said that she would be going on a retreat and would be away for a week.

My anger cup is full and overflowing, but to let peace reign and avoid jail, I’ll just sedate her two days into the retreat.

She will wake up sleeping on her mother’s bed in the village with the Ghana must-go bag she came with.
