Deborah Vanessa plans celebrity-studded party for ‘Uncle Obama’ video

Musician and TV icon Deborah Vanessa, now popularly called Sister Deborah, is about to take the entertainment industry by storm with a brand new video for her hit single ‘Uncle Obama’, featuring FOKN Bois and produced by Silvastone Beats.

The video is produced by Deborah Vanessa and directed by filmmaker King Luu who also directed ‘Coz Ov Moni’.

On Friday, September 28, 2012, music fans would witness a free grand video release party at the Silverbird Lounge at the Accra Mall from 6pm to 9pm.

There will be refreshments and toasts by close friends and collaborators as they enjoy rhythms of Deborah’s ‘Uncle Obama’. Behind-the-scenes images from the video shoot will also be on display while guests interact with Sister Deborah and socialize with other invited celebrities.

“Be amongst the first to watch this highly anticipated video to this supposedly controversial party song and learn the bananazonto,” said Deborah. ‘Uncle Obama’ has been played on Citi FM by Jessica, Choice FM by Breadknife, XFM by Kay Ara and Gasmilla, Joy FM by DJ Black and Rainbow Radio (UK) by DJ PM.

Paul Noble of Monocle FM (UK) said, “It’s such a hilarious tune” and Chris Coco of Melodica (UK) said, “I need that banana tune for my radio show!”
