He walked into the studios of Kasapa 102.3 FM to discuss serious national issues with Fiifi Banson, host of Anopa Kasapa on Thursday.
But after playing Amakye Dede’s “Iron Boy” song to welcome him, Prof. Agyemang Badu Akosa, a former Director-General of the Ghana Health Service did not hesitate to share his admiration for the artiste.
He told Banson that Amakye Dede is his favourite musician and always go gay whenever he listens to his songs.
“If you are deep thinker, you will love Amakye Dede’s songs. Each of his songs has its unique message and it is deep. That is why he calls himself serious. People have taken it for fun but to him, he is telling the world that he is a serious chap and all that he says in his songs will make you shiver down the spine. I will love him forever,” he noted.
He added “When I was living abroad, whenever I listen to Amakye Dede’s Okwantuni song, I become very sad and as a result I have to drink whisky to comfort my soul”.
