Composer, singer and performer, Dela has marked her birthday with a donation of 50 bags of cement, a polytank, cartons of milk and other items to the New Life Nungua Children’s Home.
Presenting the items at the precincts of the Home, Dela indicated that her decision was informed by her love for charity and edge to see smiles on the faces on children.
“We are touched by people who take it upon themselves to help the needy, especially children. You are doing a great job, and we thought it wise to support you in our own small way,” she said.
Receiving the items, Nii Afotey Botchway II, a divisional chief of Nungua Traditional Area who doubles as the owner of the children’s home expressed gratitude and wished the artiste well.
The children had a wonderful time with Dela as she interacted and partied with them before her departure.
She was accompanied by her management and some members of her So Me Nsa Foundation, a registered social organization that seeks to touch lives across Africa and build hope for a better future.
