Deloris Frimpong-Manso, TV presenter and host of the Delay Show has bragged about her TV show, calling it a generational program, and not a mere entertainment talk show.

Explaining her assertion, Delay said when she started her show eleven years ago, her first guest was Afia Ansaa Ampene, then host of Mmaa Nkomo, her second quest was Jewel Ackah, and during the time of his interview, award-winning DJ Switch had just been born.

She said, “when I started this show some eleven years ago, my first guest was Afia Ansaa Ampene, who was the host of Mmaa Nkomo. My next guest after her was Jewel Ackah. Around the time of Jewel Ackah’s interview, DJ Switch had just been born but eleven years on, she was on the show to be interviewed.”

Delay also cited her interview with the maestro Kojo Antwi, and said when she was interviewing the maestro, musicians like King Promise, Kidi, Kuami Eugene were probably in Junior High, primary or even kindergarten, but eleven years on, they have also been on her show to be interviewed.

“Again I interviewed the maestro Julius Kojo Antwi, that time I’d say musicians like King Promise, Kidi, Kuami Eugene were probably in junior high school, primary or even kindergarten, but eleven years on, they have all been on this show”

Deloris Frimpong Manso added that she feels her show is a generational program is because a number of people have also passed through and passed away, including Katawere, Ebony, Ronni of Buk Bak fame, and actor and director Godwin Kotey.

“Not cause pain to any family, but there are also those who have come on this show and passed on, Katawere, Ebony, Ronni of Buk Bak fame, Godwin Kotey who was an actor and director, were also here on my show. So all that I am saying is that Delay show is not just a talk show or mere entertainment show, it has become a generational program and even today as I interview my guest, someone is at the labour ward, about to give birth to my next guest who in future will also be on this show to be interviewed,” she concluded.
