Denise Williams of RnM fame returns to music

Exciting Ghanaian singer Denise Williams is back on the music scene and this time fully signed by a talent management company blaq Qode as a solo artiste.

The sparkly singer who is a former member of RnM - a three-member female group which won the maiden edition of the Vodafone Icons reality show in Ghana, disappeared off the scene sometime early 2013 after she had a staggering spiritual encounter with popular Nigerian evangelist, Prophet TB Joshua.

The creative singer made confounding revelations about her past in a deliverance session at the Prophet’s Synagogue Church of All Nations.

The 29-year-old half Ghanaian, half Liberian recounted a time in her life when she attempted suicide and engaged in prostitution in reaction to the tough times and conditions she was faced with in life.

Denise also explained why she broke away from the promising girl group to start a solo career.

According to her, she had an out of body experience and decided it was the best thing to do at the time.

“Something came in me and said leave them alone. They are holding you back, why don’t you just pursue your solo career and I just left those girls and those girls have moved on, they are elevating, great things are happening to them and I start singing at another karaoke bar again. So I am not moving forward anymore,” she said in a March 2013 video that went viral on social media.

Denise is back now and her new management, blaq Qode, the mother company of Afrokraft and Lex Entertainment have said she is ready to rock the Ghanaian music industry with her peculiar talent and energy.

A source from within the company told StarrFMonline.com the beautiful vocalist who became one of the choristers at TB Joshua’s church is back to do music that “cuts across” all genre and will do “a lot more soul music.”

Denise is the first artiste being signed on a full time management deal with the company.
