The constant cry by many industry players about how the Ghana movie industry is gradually taking a very downward decline has seen diminutive actor, Don Little join the very sad chorus in a quick interaction he had with Nana Romeo of Accra FM, zionfelix.net can report.
Don Little, who is known in private life as Stephen Atanga has called on the president of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Akufo Addo to come to the aid of the ‘dying’ local movie industry by putting some measures in place that will see that the situation is salvaged immediately.
According to the ‘Double Cross’ actor, diminutive actors like Yaw Dabo, Joe Shortingo, Company, Wayoosi, and himself have their acting career as the only way they survive and as such if it is allowed to collapse they will struggle to survive. He stressed that even though their diminutive stature cannot allow them to do any strenuous work, acting has been their life saviour.
He also told Nana Romeo of Accra FM in the quick chat with a sad tone that even though the industry has not yet collapsed, he is already facing some challenges with regards to how to feed himself because the roles are not coming in like it was before.
