Ghanaian actress, Roselyn Ngissah has said that stakeholders of the movie industry should think of the health risks involved in kissing roles in movies.
She made this revelation in an interview on ETV.
According to the ‘ 4 Play ‘ actress, it is risky to kiss someone without knowing the person’s health status.
She, however, used the platform to appeal to movie stakeholders or movie directors to address the risk of contracting diseases like Hepatitis B by kissing on set.
“I think what we should actually be doing is to ensure actors get immunized against Hepatitis B since you get that through kissing.
You might play a role with someone whose lips are sweet, but you don’t know what he or she is carrying. I think the hep- things must be checked,” she said
The Award-winning actress has carved a niche for herself on both local and foreign sectors.
She has paid her dues as far as the African movie industry is concerned.
