Takoradi based Shock Entertainment signed rapper Stephen Kwabena Siaw, known by his stage name Ayesem, has disclosed that switching to different genres of music has made him very relevant in the music circles as compared to most musicians he started music with.

According to him an artist should be dynamic and not limited to a particular genre as this will push your fans away to support another artist.

“Music is a trend and so musicians should be able to follow such trend especially when your fans seem to love such trend. I must confess that such attitude has sustained me in the industry up till now” he revealed.

He spoke to multiple award entertainment journalist, Kweku Bee Abrante on #HangoutwithKBA# on #Wizmediatv# in Takoradi.

The Ghanaian hip hop, hiplife and rapper denied claims that any rapper has been able to murder him and claimed the Ghc1,000 announced by his manager on radio. He insisted no rapper has even come forward for a battle on even called him for a rap battle since the announcement.

Throwing some light on why he chose the name ‘Ayesem’ which literally means a ‘braggart’ the multiple award winner of the Rush Western Music award revealed the name was given by a rap judge in Kumasi Melody Fm, Atsu Koliko during a rap battle in Kumasi.

With over 100 singles to his credit, Ayesem has no album yet and hopes to release one this year album which will include some international collaborations.
