CEO of Roverman Productions, Ebo Whyte, has advised married men not to leave their spouses defenseless and vulnerable to societal stigma and ridicule when they are faced with the unfortunate challenge of childlessness.

The celebrated play-wright advised that the heads of the family ‘silence’ persons who seek to pressurize their wives particularly after they are unable to produce children, regardless of whose fault it is medically.

"Nobody or no one can be more interested about your childlessness than you and your wife. So if anybody comes and he is showing too much concern just tell the person to declare his or her interest here and leave, I mean why should you be crying more than the bereaved?’’

Uncle Ebo Whyte who opened up about his marital experience in an interaction with Ghanaweb said the issue of childlessness, more often than not, destroys marriages particularly when the couple is unable to deal with the pressure and do not stand together to fight for what they have.

The play writer stated that, sometimes the couples are fine but as soon external forces come in then problems start to develop in the marriage.

“The lessons in childlessness most especially to men is that stand by your wife, be the one to defend her don’t leave her to defend herself and once society gets to know her man is behind her they will back off”. , he stated.
