Legendary Ghanaian actress Grace Omaboe, popularly known as Maame Dokono, has advised men to stay faithful and committed to women who genuinely love them.
Speaking in an interview on TV3 on September 3, 2024, Maame Dokono warned that men who fail to do so will face consequences, saying, "You will pay for it at God’s appointed time."
Drawing from her own experiences, she highlighted the importance of treating women well, noting that her book, 'The Unforgettable,' offers valuable lessons on relationships.
"Every lady needs to read that book. The men too, you need to read the book and know how to treat a lady well because if you don’t treat them well, it can turn back on you.
“Don’t play hunky-panky with a woman who opens up her heart and shows you love, does everything for you while you are doing other things. That one you will actually pay for it," she said.
Maame Dokono also announced her upcoming book launch on September 7, 2024, which will mark her 60 years in the movie industry.
The book, titled ‘The Unforgettable’ covers her personal life experiences, including past relationships, her career, and her political ambitions.
She encouraged both men and women to read it for its relationship insights.
Maame Dokono also revealed plans to produce a movie based on her life experiences.
The book launch and other events are part of her celebration of six decades in the entertainment industry.
