The founder and leader of the Power of Worship International church, Prophet Daniel Amoateng has asked his colleagues not to publicly reveal the prophecies of celebrities.
The man of God speaking to Franky 5 on Hitz FM’s ‘This Is Gospel” entertainment show said some men of God should at times use their sense of thinking when prophesying to celebrities.
According to the 2015 Guba Awards Humanitarian award-winner, prophets should communicate doom auguries about public figures in private but not to the world as most do.
To him, everything said about celebrities become a story for the public to discuss and that is not what prophecies are meant for so “the simplest thing to do is to tell the person in private and work about it.”
“The simplest thing to do by wisdom, (that is why Prophets need to learn) is to talk to the celebrity after service. When I see something during service, I’m not supposed to say it publicly. Yes, God showed it to me but I’ve to contact you privately to give you the information and pray with you so that everything will be well.
John Dumelo is a friend I completed school with so if I see something about him, should I wait for him to be at my church before I announce for the congregation to know about it to make name? Prophets are not supposed to be superstars.
I want to admonish every man of God to privately talk to celebrities when they see anything about them.” Prophet Daniel Amoateng said on the show.
Daniel Amoateng hosts the Next Level Conference from Sunday, May 27 to June 3 at the Power of Worship International on the Spintex Road in Accra.
Other speakers for the event are Prophet Sampson Amoateng, Prophet Brian Amoateng, movie director Pascal Amanfo and Abena Brigidi.
Musicians expected to perform at the week-long event include O.J, Bro. Sammy, Tagoe Sisters, Gifty Osei, Francis Amo, Oware Jnr and many others.
