Rapper E.L returns to the Coke Studio Africa stage this weekend in Episode 4 of the series.
Alongside Kenyan singer Jaguar (with whom he has been paired for the show) they create a rendition of his Mi Naa Bo Po from Coke bottles with the help of the studio audience, a gesture which has been described as the “most electrifying performance ever”.
In the debut episode of the show, E.L and Jaguar covered each other’s song, and made an original song with South Africa’s DJ Maphorisa.
The Coke Studio Africa brings top artists from various parts of the continent together to create medleys of some of Africa’s favorite anthems. It has been graced by some of the biggest African stars yet, including Nigeria’s MI Abaga and 2Baba (2Face Idibia), Kenya’s Avril, and Mozambique’s Neyma.
