Celebrated broadcaster, Fiifi Banson has disclosed his reason for leaving EIB Network is because his three-year contract with the media empire has ended.

The Dynamite, as he is affectionately called, told Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Wednesday, May 24 that contrary to rumours that he is going back to the Despite group he is not.

“I’m not going back to Peace FM, I saw a portal that reported that I was going back to Peace FM and I haven’t granted any interview to anybody. Starr Chat is perhaps the official show I’m having and telling people I’m bowing out. I signed a three-year contract with EIB Network and the entire process was that I wanted to move away from my 15 years of Drivetime, try and explore other areas, try and do other things.

“Because I have sat-in a couple of times for the Morning show when I was at Peace FM and I had a few good remarks and reviews so I said perhaps the only thing I haven’t done was the morning show hence my joining EIB Network,” the Dynamite said.

He added: ” I’m still part of the EIB family, I still have a few things to do with GhONE and so EIB is family”.

Fiifi however noted he is taking up responsibilities in other areas.

Mr. Banson, known for his high sense of humour and unique baritone voice was Morning show host for Kasapa 102.5 FM since its inception three years ago.

Kwaku Owusu Adjei, popularly known as Patoo now takes over as the host of the Kasapa FM morning show.

Fiifi Banson had previously worked with Radio Gold and Peace FM all in the nation’s capital.
