Paul Anomah Kordieh, e.TV Ghana’s presenter is to receive the ‘Man of Courage’ honorary award from EMY Africa.
Paul over the years has stood tall among his peers because of his exemplary pursuit in broadcast journalism, despite being visually impaired which would have ordinarily been a barrier to realizing his passion for broadcasting.
According to Paul, who is also the Executive Director for National Resource Centre for Children with Disability, (NRCCD) he is grateful to Global Media Alliance for having faith in him and giving him the opportunities he needed.
‘’I owe it all to the management of GMA for giving me the rare opportunity. They saw beyond my condition and recognized my potential. Working at e.TV is truly fulfilling; my colleagues and my bosses are very supportive and readily provide all the equipment I need to work’’ he started.
He also said he is grateful to EMY Africa for counting him worthy to receive 2019 ‘Man of Courage’ award.
EMY awards which is in its fourth year, is a prestigious platform where men are celebrated on and around Father’s Day. EMY Africa honours great achievements and the hard work of individuals who have kindled hope and progression in society.
According to EMY Africa, Paul is receiving this honorary award ‘Man of Courage’ for being an inspiration on the African continent.
Paul has been in the broadcasting industry for over a decade and has won several awards. Currently he is the host of ‘Live Chat with Paul’ which is a show designed to encourage and uplift the young adults in relation to their careers, religion and social life.
EMY is the acronym for Exclusive Men of the year.
