The dream of most foreigners who are interested in learning about the beautiful African culture and dances will soon be fulfilled, as Ebaahi Entertainment Group, one of Ghana’s enterprising cultural and dance groups, is working tirelessly to establish cultural centres in some selected countries in Europe to train foreigners.

The group was established in 2000 and specialises in folk music, cultural drumming and dancing, acrobatic and drama, and is meant to develop traditional music and dance by organising training programmes for both foreign and local cultural music and dance lovers.

According to the leader of the group, Bartimaeus Tetteh, the ultimate mission of the group is to promote African culture by presenting dances and music that illuminate the richness of African traditional values. It would also continue to inspire the youth and assist young Ghanaian artistes to expose their talents.

The group, made up of 40 talented and seasoned performers, has over the past months been creating waves with magnificent and powerful performances in Ghana, the West African sub-region and Europe.

It has also made bold appearances in several cultural festivals in Ghana and some European countries like Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, among others.

The group has been involved in the promotion and development of traditional Ghanaian music and dance, and been instrumental in the training of several young men and women who are currently at the forefront of traditional/contemporary music and dance in Ghana and overseas.
