Ebo Whyte is back again with “Don’t Mess With a Woman”

There are several reasons why people would enter into a relationship, but for most people, it is because they hope it will end in marriage.

So what do you do when after years of courtship, your relationship rather leads another person to the altar?

It might seem weird but that was the experience of Naa. She has been in a relationship with her boyfriend Tony for 5 years but throughout their courtship, her man never registered his readiness to settle down.

Thus, it was a big shock for Naa when her friend Yaa informed her that Tony was getting married to none other than her best friend, Cynthia. This opens a new chapter in the lives of these four persons in the latest play from the stables of Roverman Productions titled “DON’T MESS WITH A WOMAN”.

The play, written and directed by renowned playwright Uncle Ebo Whyte takes a closer look at the intricacies of relationships like that of Naa and Tony which ended without one party in the know.

Whiles for Tony, the relationship was over, Naa was sure the relationship was just going through a crisis which would be resolved with time.

If the saying “hell hath no fury than a woman scorned” is anything to go by, then Naa’s reaction to her boyfriend’s marriage to her best friend will either prove or dispel this assertion.

“Don’t mess with a woman” opens to the public from Saturday September 1 2012 to Sunday September 2, 2012 at the National Theatre in Accra. There will be two shows each day at 4pm and then at 8pm.
