The 2024 edition of the 'Fetu Afahye' festival is set to be extraordinary, celebrating the 60th anniversary of this cherished event observed by the people of Cape Coast in the Central Region.

In response, many locals have seized the opportunity to sell food and beverages along the commercial streets to cater to the influx of visitors.

The week-long festival, starting on the first Saturday of September each year, is packed with activities showcasing the cultural heritage of Oguaa.

According to reports, several pubs, fast food joints, and restaurants are emerging to meet the growing demand.
